What this information means
A single result does not represent overall connection quality. For troubleshooting, consider changes in your public IP, the target service's region, and your local network settings together.
Public IP address
Your public IP is the address used by the current connection to reach external services. After switching to a 43VPN route, run the check again. If the IP and location change with the selected route, requests are being sent through the new egress.
Countries, regions, and IP databases
The location reflects how an IP database records that address, not the device's precise location. Databases may update at different times, so minor differences in regional names do not by themselves indicate a connection problem.
Network service provider
The ISP field identifies the network organization associated with the public IP. Data-center, residential, and enterprise networks may show different provider types, helping you determine whether the current egress matches expectations.
Proxy-detection status
Proxy detection combines address characteristics with network data. A detected proxy does not mean the route is faulty, and no detection is not a privacy guarantee. Browser settings, routing rules, and the target website's own detection methods can all affect the result.

DNS converts domain names into network addresses. If the route has changed but domain lookups are still handled by the original network, the access path may not match expectations.
Record your current egress
Before switching routes, note your public IP and ISP. Then connect to the target route and return to this page to run the check again. The two results should show whether your egress has changed.
Check your system DNS settings
Check whether your operating system, browser, or router specifies DNS separately. If the browser uses its own encrypted DNS, it may bypass the client's DNS path, so align the settings with your actual setup.
Confirm where domain requests go
In rule mode, some domains may be handled according to local rules. If a target service resolves unexpectedly, temporarily switch connection modes for comparison, then check whether the relevant domains are assigned to the intended route.
Refresh and compare again
After changing settings, disconnect and reconnect. Close pages that may retain old DNS results, then visit this tool again to verify the egress. If the issue persists, include the public IP, selected region, and symptoms when submitting a support ticket.
Lookup privacy
43VPN does not record the contents of lookups on this page. Your browser sends requests only to this site's same-origin GeoIP API, and results are used for display on the current page without being saved to a local history list. If the API is unavailable, the page clearly shows “Temporarily unavailable” and does not fall back to a third-party public API.
